  • To schedule an appointment with me, you can fill out the contact form or email me directly at giannamurabitolcsw@gmail.com. After gathering some basic information about you, we will set up a time to meet. If we are unable to work together, I would be happy to refer you to another psychotherapist in order to ensure you get the appropriate care to serve your needs.

  • The initial evaluation is 60 minutes. Follow-up sessions are scheduled for 45 minutes each. Typically, sessions occur on a weekly basis, but as we progress, there is flexibility to transition to biweekly or monthly sessions based on individual needs and progress.

  • Depending on what kind of health plan you have, you may be eligible for financial reimbursement towards your therapy bills. I am not currently an in-network provider for any insurance companies. If you have out-of-network mental health benefits, you may be able to submit claims to cover a large portion of your payment after you meet your deductible. If you are unsure about what benefits you have, the best thing to do is to contact your insurance company directly.

  • For information on session fees, please submit an inquiry. All of my sliding scale spots are currently full.

  • I work in my Manhattan office on Mondays and Wednesdays each week, with limited availability for in-person appointments. I also offer telehealth appointments through a HIPAA-compliant platform.

  • I am licensed in New York and based out of New York City.
